Tech Announces Promotional Ticket Prices

Arkansas Tech University has announced promotional ticket prices of $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens for the remainder of the 2011-12 basketball regular season.

“Arkansas Tech fans can make Tucker Coliseum one of the greatest home court advantages in all of NCAA Division II basketball,” said Steve Mullins, director of athletics. “We have seen what a difference it makes for our teams when they have a large and enthusiastic crowd supporting them. It is our hope that Wonder Boys and Golden Suns fans will take advantage of these promotional prices during the remainder of the 2011-12 basketball regular season. Join us as we provide our teams with a great game environment and our community with an enjoyable and affordable entertainment opportunity.”

The promotional ticket prices will go into effect for Arkansas Tech’s Great American Conference doubleheader against Ouachita Baptist University at 5:30 p.m. (women) and 7:30 p.m. (men) on Thursday, Jan. 26.

Other remaining home dates for Arkansas Tech basketball this season include doubleheaders on Thursday, Feb. 9, against Southwestern Oklahoma State; Saturday, Feb. 11, against East Central University; Saturday, Feb. 18, against Henderson State University; and Saturday, Feb. 25, against Southern Arkansas University.

The promotional ticket prices will also be in effect when the Golden Suns host Missouri Western State University for a single non-conference contest on Monday, Feb. 6.

Those with a valid Arkansas Tech identification card will continue to be admitted free of charge.
