Tech Alumna Wins Mrs. Arkansas Pageant

Sharla Fultz, a 2010 graduate of Arkansas Tech University, was crowned Mrs. Arkansas America 2013 during the annual Mrs. Arkansas Pageant in Hot Springs on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Sharla Fultz, a 2010 graduate of Arkansas Tech University, was crowned Mrs. Arkansas America 2013 during the annual Mrs. Arkansas Pageant in Hot Springs on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Fultz earned a Master of Arts degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) at Arkansas Tech.

She teaches at Pyron Elementary School. She and her husband, Josh, are parents of two children --- Rhett and Analeise.

With the victory, Fultz earns the right to represent Arkansas in the 2013 Mrs. America Pageant.

Contestants in Mrs. America and its preliminaries must be 18 years of age or older, a U.S. citizen and married.
