Tech Alumna Honored at Eastern Michigan

Arkansas Tech University alumna Dr. Kay Woodiel has received the 2012 Ronald W. Collins Distinguished Faculty Award for service to Eastern Michigan University.

Woodiel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education from Arkansas Tech.

She is in her 14th year on the faculty at Eastern Michigan University, where she holds the rank of professor of health education in the EMU School of Health Promotion and Human Performance.

Woodiel is in the second year of a return to full-time faculty status. She spent five years as director of diversity and community involvement at Eastern Michigan.
