Taste of Hawaii at Williamson Hall Thursday

Forgive those attending this week’s installment of the 2012 fall dinner series hosted by the Arkansas Tech University hospitality administration program if they mistakenly believe they are in the tropical paradise of Hawaii.

Forgive those attending this week’s installment of the 2012 fall dinner series hosted by the Arkansas Tech University hospitality administration program if they mistakenly believe they are in the tropical paradise of Hawaii.

Hospitality students will serve a meal that includes many of the flavors of our 50th state on Thursday, Oct. 25, at Williamson Hall Dining Room.

Reserved seating times for the meal are available from 6-7 p.m. Cost for the meal will be $19.95 plus tax. All gratuities are invested in the Walters-Williams Scholarship.

  • Seared Ahi Tuna
    “Sashimi style tuna rubbed in bold spices and seared medium-rare; served with a mild wasabi sauce”
  • Luau Salad
    “A mixed green salad with cucumbers, green onions, red and yellow peppers, carrots, mango and crisp wontons; served with sweet balsamic vinaigrette”
  • Hawaiian Barbeque
    “Hawaiian style beef, chicken and shrimp marinated in a Polynesian barbeque sauce and grilled to perfection; served with grilled vegetables and steamed rice”
  • Creme De Fruta
    “A layer of sponge cake and whipped cream topped with fruits and gelatin”
