Survey enters students for $200 gift card drawing

“I won!” the student shouted, waving his $200 Wal-Mart gift card in front of his friends’ noses.

That student could be any Ozark Campus student who takes the Adult Learner Inventory (ALI) next week.

On Monday, March 5, each student will receive an ALI survey invitation sent to their OneTech e-mail address. Taking the ALI survey will enter the student into a drawing for a number of prizes, including a $200 Wal-Mart gift card, two $25 Wal-Mart gift cards and an Ozark Campus Café coupon – and it only takes 15-20 minutes to complete the survey.

In addition, Jessica Birchler, director of the Career Pathways Initiative (CPI) program, said CPI students will receive a workshop credit for taking the ALI.

Designed for community college students, the ALI asks how important campus facilities, resources and services are to students, as well as how satisfied students are that the campus is fulfilling those expectations.

“The Ozark Campus wants to know what students think,” said ALI survey coordinator Mike Bogue.  “We want to know what is working and what isn’t working, then act on that knowledge to create a better educational and personal experience for Ozark Campus students.”

The ALI will be open for students to take starting Monday and ending Friday, March 9.  The prize drawings will be held on Monday, March 12. Prize winners will be notified the same day.
