Arkansas Tech freshman Rebecka Surtevall posted her second consecutive sub-80 round on Monday and is tied for 29th place entering the final round of the 2012 NCAA Division II Super Region 4 Women’s Golf Championship at the Wigwam Resort Red Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
Surtevall shot 78 on Monday. That, paired with her opening-round 76 on Sunday, gives her a total of 154 through 36 holes.
She made six bogeys and 12 pars during the second round. She finished the day with four consecutive pars.
Central Oklahoma’s Taylor Neidy shot 68 on Monday. She is 4-under for the tournament and owns a three-stroke lead entering the final round on Tuesday.
The NCAA Division II Super Region 4 Women’s Golf Championship will continue through Tuesday, May 8.
