Arkansas Tech University remained undefeated in conference play during the 2015 volleyball season and atop the Great American Conference standings with wins over Southwestern Oklahoma State University on Friday and Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Saturday.
The Golden Suns (15-5 overall, 9-0 GAC) topped the SWOSU Lady Bulldogs 25-14, 25-21, 20-25, 25-20 at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville.
Hunter Eshnaur (19 kills), Katie Huff (13 kills) and Haley Owen (10 kills) led Tech’s offensive attack. Sarita Stegall made 53 assists. Madison Nagel collected 14 digs and Kaci Jackson notched 12 digs for the Golden Suns.
Arkansas Tech put three players in double figures in kills again when it defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.
Eshnaur had 13 kills, while Owen finished with 12 kills and Huff was credited with 11 kills. Stegall racked up 44 assists. Nagel made 20 digs and Colleen Wooten had 10 digs.
The Golden Suns will host Central Baptist College at 3 p.m. and Lyon College at 7 p.m. in non-conference play at Tucker Coliseum on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Admission will be free.
