Suns Take Down Nationally-Ranked Foe

Arkansas Tech University earned a 6-3 women’s tennis victory over nationally 28th-ranked Concordia College (N.Y.) in a neutral-site match at Pensacola, Fla., on Thursday.

The Golden Suns (6-8) won 2-of-3 doubles matches and 4-of-6 singles matches to earn the win and stop a two-match losing streak. Arkansas Tech fell to the University of West Florida and Georgia College during its first two matches on its Pensacola road trip.

Head coach Abby Davis and the Golden Suns will host the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff for a non-conference match at the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex in Russellville on Tuesday, March 29. First serve is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Admission will be free and open to the public.
