Arkansas Tech’s women’s cross country team finished 17th in the 24th annual Missouri Southern Stampede, which took place in Joplin, Mo., on Saturday morning.
The Golden Suns’ top individual finisher was Kaitlin Bounds, who finished 107th with a time of 20 minutes, 40.59 seconds.
Kayla Waldrup (139th, 21:32.76), Monika Montoya (159th, 26:14.17), Cheryl Fleming (160th, 26:14.35) and Katherine Selman (162nd, 28:33.83) also competed for Arkansas Tech.
The Golden Suns are scheduled to run in the Rhodes College Invitational in Memphis, Tenn., on Saturday, Sept. 29.
