Arkansas Tech forced Lyon College into 27 attack errors as the Golden Suns posted an easy 25-13, 25-10, 25-10 victory over the Pipers at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Monday night.
The Golden Suns (8-3) held a 35-14 advantage in digs and Laura Farney (photographed) made 11 kills in the victory.
Kera Dukic’s 31 assists, Brennae Benda’s 10 digs and Brittany Ryan’s five blocks also helped Tech improve to 2-0 at home this season.
Tech is now 43-8 at Tucker Coliseum since the start of the 2007 volleyball season.
The Golden Suns will play four matches at a classic hosted by the University of Alabama in Huntsville on Friday and Saturday.
