The Office of the Registrar has announced the schedule by which current students may register for summer and fall 2016 classes at Arkansas Tech University.
Students must consult with their advisors before registering in classes. Appointment schedules were posted near advisors’ offices beginning March 7, 2016. Distance learners and night students should contact their advisors to discuss the process for registration.
Registration instructions, registration and academic calendars and other information such as graduation information and end of course exam schedule are available at www.atu.edu/registrar.
To assure award of maximum financial aid for summer, students should complete all summer registration by June 1.
Students currently enrolled for the spring semester may begin registering for summer and fall 2016 classes according to the following schedule:
Monday, March 14
All graduates and undergraduates 60 or more earned hours
Monday, March 28
59-26 hours
Tuesday, April 5
25-19 hours
Monday, April 11
18-12 hours
Tuesday, April 19
11 or fewer hours
Newly admitted transfer and returning undeclared students or any student who needs additional guidance in selecting a major should call or visit the Roy and Christine Sturgis Academic Advising Center (479-964-0850, Rothwell Hall room 107) to schedule an advising/registration appointment beginning May 2.
Newly admitted transfer and returning students with a declared major should contact their respective academic department to schedule an advising/registration appointment.
Registration for first-time entering freshmen will begin in the Sturgis Academic Advising Center on May 31.
