Hundreds of young musicians will soon be arriving on campus for the 48th Annual Arkansas Tech Band Camps.
Each camp runs from Tuesday through Saturday, and registration is on the first day of camp from 8-11 a.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building.
The first camp is for middle school students, and it begins on June 14. The junior high camp begins on July 12, and the senior high camp starts on July 18.
Local middle school campers can register early on Monday, June 13, and local junior high campers can register on Monday, July 11, from 2-4 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building.
Upon registering, students will receive information regarding room assignments, private lessons and auditions. A mandatory all-camp meeting will be held on the day of arrival with additional information.
Final concerts will be held on Saturday for each respective camp. Souvenir recordings will be available to order on the day of the concert.
The camps maintain an office staffed by the Officer of the Day, which is located in Witherspoon Room 164 from 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
