Coordinator of Student Success Mike Bogue said, “The Open House will be a chance to let students, faculty, and staff know what services we offer in the Student Success Lab. For example, we primarily offer free tutoring for math and English composition, but we also offer free help with study skills, test taking, time management and test anxiety.” Bogue added the event will also give students the opportunity to meet the Success Center student tutors: Tasha Briley, Megan Evans, Melanie Phillips and Charlotte Swedeen. The Student Success Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with the following tutoring schedule for the fall semester:
- Technical Math I, Technical Math II and Beginning/Intermediate Algebra: Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-9 a.m. and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- College Algebra: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-9 a.m. and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Fridays, noon-4 p.m.
- Foundational Composition, Composition I and Composition II: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
