Students Visit State Capitol

 

The Chancellor’s Leadership Cabinet (CLC) of Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus attended the 88th General Assembly – Regular Session 2011.

Upon arrival at the state capital, the CLC was greeted by State Representatives John Hoyt, John Paul Wells, and Leslie Milam Post, and Phil Jacobs, Arkansas Tech University’s Vice President of Governmental Relations. After a tour of the capital building, the students were treated to lunch and later returned to the capital to observe the afternoon session.

David Crowley, CLC member said, “The trip to Little Rock was enlightening and an educational opportunity. I’m proud to have been a participant.”

After a tour of the capitol, the students enjoyed an afternoon at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library.
