Arkansas Tech students can learn more about giving back today during a volunteer service fair.
Numerous River Valley organizations will be on-hand to offer students opportunities to get involved in the community.
The fair will be hosted by the Office of Student Services and the Office of Volunteer Services from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in front of the Baswell Techionery.
During the fair, local non-profits seeking volunteer efforts from Arkansas Tech students will set up to distribute information about what they do and answer any questions students may have about their organization.
Some of the organizations students will be able to speak with Tuesday include:
- Women and Children’s Shelter
- Boys and Girls Club
- JP Ranch and Rescues
- Wildflower Assisted Living
- Arkansas River Valley Arts Center
- American Red Cross
- Volunteer and Leadership Services
- Arkansas Department of Health Hospice
- River Valley Literacy
- Main Street Russellville
