Students Receive Master's Degrees

Arkansas Tech University recognized those completing the cohort master’s degree during a ceremony at the Doc Bryan Student Services Building Lecture Hall Friday afternoon.

During the ceremony, Dr. Mary Gunter, dean of the Graduate College, presented the graduates with their degrees, while Dr. David Underwood, associate vice president for academic affairs at Arkansas Tech.

Following the graduation ceremony, family members and friends had the opportunity to honor the graduates at a reception.

The International and Multicultural Student Services Office coordinates the cohort program.

Students enrolled in it take part in a rigorous 11-month experience and earn a Master of Education in instructional technology degree or a Master of Arts in English degree with the Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages option at the conclusion of the program.
