Thousands of high school seniors packed Tucker Coliseum on Thursday for Time-Out for Tech, which is the university’s annual preview day. The event gives high school seniors a better understanding of college life at Arkansas Tech.
The opening session was Thursday morning in Tucker Coliseum, and then students had the opportunity to see the campus, visit with professors and tour the Arkansas Tech residence halls. Students were also able to learn more about student organizations at Arkansas Tech during an organization fair.
Several optional sessions were planned for students, which included information about financial aid and athletic opportunities at Arkansas Tech.
One of the highlights of Time-Out for Tech is the chance to win a scholarship to attend Arkansas Tech. See the 2010 scholarship winners.
Additionally, every senior in attendance received a free t-shirt. See the t-shirt design.
