Student Writes Radio Theatre Series

Arkansas Tech student Aaron Wallis has constructed a radio theatre series entitled “Tomorrow’s a New Day” that will premiere on Arkansas Tech Radio Theatre Saturday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. on KXRJ 91.9.

Wallis, a broadcast journalism major, wrote the series of four broadcasts to depict the schemes and adventures of the fictional Wordsworth family.

“The Arkansas Radio Theatre is a great way for an aspiring writer to have the opportunity to get their work out there to the world,” Wallis said.

Dr. David J. Eshelman, assistant professor of speech at Arkansas Tech, is proud of his student’s accomplishments. “Most importantly, “Tomorrow’s a New Day” represents a fruition of student dramatic writing that is unheard of on other campuses.”
