NCAA Tournament Ticket Giveaway

Arkansas Tech students will have the chance to get free tickets to attend the NCAA Division II Tournament South Regionals this weekend at Tucker Coliseum.

Beginning at noon on Friday, the tickets will be given away to the first 100 students in line at the Doc Bryan Student Services Building Room 242.

In order to receive tickets, a student must be currently enrolled in classes at Arkansas Tech and be able to present a valid Arkansas Tech identification card.

Those students receiving tickets will receive one ticket for each day of games during the tournament.

The free tickets are provided by the Arkansas Tech Student Government Association, Student Activities Board and Residence Hall Association. Students who don’t receive free tickets may purchase a ticket for each day of games at Tucker Coliseum beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.  The student price for tickets is $5 per day, and tickets are the same price for senior citizens over the age of 60.  The general admission price is $8 per day.

Because of NCAA rules, no special passes will be honored for admission to the games.

The Golden Suns basketball team will take on Benedict College at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wonder Boys will face Tuskegee University at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
