Leaders Attend Orientation Training

While many students at Arkansas Tech have already headed home for the summer, 20 Tech students are on the campus preparing for next year.

The 2010-11 orientation leaders are participating in training for the summer and fall orientation sessions.  The leaders were selected this spring through an application and interview process.  See the complete list of leaders.

During orientation sessions, the student leaders will work in teams to lead the session activities, and students attending the sessions will learn about campus services, campus activities and learn their way around the campus.

There are six TECH Knowledge sessions available throughout the summer, and the first session is Friday, June 4.

Four of the sessions are day sessions, while two sessions are overnight sessions.  The cost to attend a TECH Knowledge session is $25, and the fee includes orientation materials, meals and a t-shirt.

There is also a parent orientation that corresponds with each TECH Knowledge session, and the parent orientation is free of charge.
