Several planned street repairs will affect Arkansas Tech University students, faculty and staff.
Beginning on Monday, May 16, sections of El Paso Avenue and O Street will be closed for repairs.
University officials expect the repairs to take approximately two weeks.
Additionally, Arkansas Tech will also be installing three new security gates on the Russellville campus. The gates are designed to provide greater safety for pedestrian traffic.
One of the gates will be located on North Boulder Avenue near McEver Hall. The other two gates will be situated on West Q Street, and they will be positioned east and west of the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center.
