Still Time to Purchase Bricks

Those wishing to show their support for Arkansas Tech by purchasing a personalized brick as part of the Centennial Brick Program have only a few days to purchase a brick and guarantee its installation by Homecoming 2010.

The Centennial Brick Program began last fall as a way for Arkansas Tech alumni and friends to display a permanent tribute of their support for the university.  Last spring 121 bricks were installed at the Centennial Plaza, and more than 200 additional bricks will be added by the fall.

Organizers say the installation of the bricks will be complete by homecoming, which is scheduled for October 15-16.

The Centennial Plaza is located between Thone Stadium and Williamson Hall, and it serves as a tailgating area for Tech fans before home football games.

The bricks may be purchased for $100 each, and each brick can be personalized with three lines of text and up to 15 characters per line.

Those interested in learning more about the program can click here and then select the “Buy Your Brick Button” for additional information about the program.

Anyone interested may also call the Development Office at 479-968-0400 or email bricks@atu.edu.
