Stevens Chosen for Harvard Development Program

Dr. Robert Stevens, Arkansas Tech University associate professor of rehabilitation science, has been accepted into the Harvard Graduate School of Educations executive certificate in higher education leadership professional development program.

Over a span of three years, Stevens will pursue the executive certificate by attending three learning institutes at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. The institutes will cover topics such as student support, mental health in higher education and crisis leadership.

Stevens joined the Arkansas Tech faculty in 2017. He was promoted to associate professor and granted tenure by the ATU Board of Trustees in 2023.

A graduate of the Leadership Tech professional development program, Stevens received a mentor award from the ATU Graduate Student Council in 2026 in recognition of his dedication to supporting graduate students.
