Staying Alive: Belew Makes Top 10

Cody Belew has been on the edge of elimination at almost every stage of “The Voice” on NBC, but the Arkansas Tech University alumnus continues to persist in his hopes of winning the singing competition and a recording contract.

Belew, a 2007 graduate of Arkansas Tech with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music, has been voted into the top 10 acts on “The Voice” by viewers. His name was read by host Carson Daly during the final segment of the results show on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

As a result of making the top 10, Belew will perform live on “The Voice” again on Monday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. (CST).

Viewers will have an opportunity to vote for Belew and the other contestants on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

The results of the nationwide vote will be announced on “The Voice” on NBC on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. (CST).

“The Voice” is seen on NBC affiliates around the United States, including KARK in central Arkansas and KNWA in northwest Arkansas. The television program is among the highest-rated in the United States with a regular audience of more than 10 million viewers.
