Stage Production, Short Film at ATU March 31-April 2

The cast of "All the Ways the World Will End, But Not You" at Arkansas Tech University rehearses inside Techionery Theatre.

“All the Ways the World Will End, But Not You,” a stage production by the Arkansas Tech University theatre and film program, will open Friday, March 31, at Techionery Theatre.

The opening-night performance will begin at 7 p.m. Subsequent presentations are scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, April 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2.

Tickets for each evening will be $5 and will be available before each performance at the Techionery Theatre box office, 1502 N. El Paso Ave. on the ATU campus in Russellville.

“All the Ways the World Will End, But Not You” is a comedy that was written by Ian McWethy and Jason Pizzarello in 2018. The ATU production is being directed by Natalie Canerday, a Russellville native who appeared in the films “Sling Blade” and “October Sky.”

The lead roles in “All the Ways” will be performed by ATU students Jolie Haar and Evan Matlock. They will be joined on stage by a cast of more than 25 additional performers.

Included in each admission will be a screening of a short film entitled “Matter.” The film stars ATU students Peyton Greenwood and Emma Merritt. It was directed by Frances Roberson from the ATU Department of Communication and Media Studies faculty and created by Sarah Pollock and Kyndal Atkinson.
