Arkansas Tech University Staff Senate elections are taking place Oct. 22-26.
Electronic voting is available through Blackboard. Paper ballots are available in Browning Hall room 203.
Open positions include two senator-at-large spots as well as opportunities to represent the following functional areas:
*Registrar/Admissions/Advising Center
*Alumni/Advancement/Athletics/President’s Office
*Academic Affairs
*Student Affairs
*Facilities Management (two positions)
Full-time employees in non-supervisory roles are eligible for service on the ATU Staff Senate.
The following positions are not eligible to vote or serve:
*Part-time employees
*Vice presidents/members of executive council
*Deans, Associate or Assistant Deans
*Department heads, supervisors or those acting in that capacity
