Spring Enrollment Up at Arkansas Tech – Ozark

Officials at Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus released the unofficial headcount for spring 2011 with 1,406 students enrolled.  This marks another year of increased enrollment for the spring semester. This time last year, enrollment figures topped 1,213.

Mr. Richard Harris, chief student officer stated, "Spring 2011 enrollment growth can be attributed to the commitment following our strategic plan.  Strong organizational planning along with relevant academic programs and good customer service allow this institution to increase its enrollment each year.  Both current and potential students know that good things are happening at Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus and want to be a part of it."

Dedication to providing the needs of the students in the area is evident. Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, chancellor observed, "Arkansas Tech-Ozark has a mission of providing access to higher education to students in our region, and they find the Ozark Campus to be a student-centered campus where they not only learn skills, but where they feel welcome."
