Spring Continuing Education Schedule

 

The Arkansas Tech University Department of Continuing Education has announced it will host a variety of classes in its spring schedule of courses.  Among the course offerings available, are classes on Ebay, blogging and using a computer.

Additionally, there are several classes designed to assist individuals with the LSAT, GMAT, Praxis and ACT.

Lisa Cochran, director of continuing education at Arkansas Tech, says there are a wide variety of courses available that appeal to many varied and diverse interests.

The complete spring schedule includes:

  • Morning Aqua Aerobics, Mondays and Wednesdays from January 19-May 2, 8-8:50 a.m., Hull Building Swimming Pool; $85, or $75 for early bird registration and $70 with an Arkansas Tech identification card. Early bird deadline is January 12. Instructor is Pam Garland.
  • Evening Aqua Aerobics, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 18-May 3, 7-7:50 p.m., Hull Building Swimming Pool; $120, or $110 for early bird registration and $100 with an Arkansas Tech identification card. Early bird deadline is January 11. Instructor is Tina Chronister.
  • Karate, Thursdays from January 20-April 28, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Hull Building Room 111; $45, or $40 for early bird registration and $35 with an Arkansas Tech identification card. Early bird deadline is January 13. Instructor is Nobuyuki Nezu.
