Cheerleaders and dancers wishing to improve their skills and technique will have an opportunity to receive critique from the Arkansas Tech cheerleaders and Golden Girls dance team.
Coordinator of Student Life Aubrey Holt has announced the Arkansas Tech Spirit Critique Clinic will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Hull double gym on the Arkansas Tech campus.
The critique clinic is for ages 13 and up. Age appropriate cheer and dance techniques will be taught and critiqued for all participants. Some skills to be taught include jumps, stunts, tumbling, turns, leaps, kicks and dance styles.
The camp will be staffed by the Tech cheerleaders and Golden Girls dance team. Participants will be critiqued thoroughly to ensure a quality experience.
Clinic participants will receive a t-shirt, but to be guaranteed, a registration form must be submitted before Tuesday, Feb. 17. The fee to attend is $25.
