Area youngsters will have the opportunity to learn more about cheer and dance from the Arkansas Tech University Spirit Squads. The Tech Spirit Squads will host a youth spirit clinic for children ages 5-12 on Saturday. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. – noon in Room 112 of the Hull Physical Education Building. During the clinic, members of the Arkansas Tech Cheerleaders and the Arkansas Tech Golden Girls will teach cheer and dance skills and a performance routine to all participants. Following the clinic, participants will perform at halftime of the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns basketball game on Saturday. The game begins at 1 p.m. at Tucker Coliseum.
