SNL's Seth Meyers to Perform at Tech

The Arkansas Tech University Student Activities Board will welcome actor and comedian Seth Meyers for a performance on Monday, April 11.

Meyers will perform at 8 p.m. in Tucker Coliseum, and tickets will be free to students with a valid Arkansas Tech identification card.  Tickets for faculty, staff and the general public will be $20.

Meyers is a member of the Saturday Night Live cast, and since joining the cast in 2001, he has impersonated a variety of individuals including John Kerry, Anderson Cooper, Ryan Seacrest, Tobey Maguire and Peyton Manning.  He currently serves as the head writer and anchors the news parody segment Weekend Update.

In addition to his role on Saturday Night Live, Meyers has appeared in several movies including “Journey to the Center of the Earth” and “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist.”

Meyer’s performance will be in lieu of a spring concert this year at Arkansas Tech, and organizers say they’ll have information available soon for those wishing to purchase tickets.
