Dr. Timothy Smith will present a faculty piano recital at Witherspoon Auditorium on Thursday, Sept. 13.
Smith will take stage at 7:30 p.m. Admission will be free and open to the public.
During the recital, Smith will offer several works including Jeux d’Eau by Maurice Ravel, Three Mazurkas by Frederic Chopin and Appassionata by Ludwig van Beethoven.
An associate professor of music at Arkansas Tech, Smith holds degrees from Indiana University and St. Olaf College.
Smith has served as the official pianist for the D’Angelo Competition in Strings at Mercyhurst College. He has also collaborated with hundreds of musicians throughout his career.
