SIFE Class Helping Senior Citizens

Arkansas Tech students are donating their time to help area seniors learn how to use a computer.

The student organization Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is once again hosting a free computer class to help senior citizens improve their computer skills.

The five-week class will begin meeting at 5:30 p.m. today in Rothwell Hall Room 213. The class will meet each Tuesday through March 16.

Organizers say a variety of topics will be covered in the class including the following:

  • cyber security
  • managing files
  • email usage
  • digital camera management
  • navigating the Internet

Members of SIFE will also be on hand throughout the class to provide one-on-one assistance to class participants.
