SGA's "Let's Make a Deal" Entertains Students

More than 300 students came out to cheer on the lucky contestants in “Let’s Make a Deal” and fight for their share of more than $3,000 in cash and prizes.

Arkansas Tech psychology professor Dr. Jason Warnick served as the master of ceremonies for the evening.

After participants competed in wacky games for a chance to play, such as drawing the United States with their eyes closed and participating in an impromptu talent show, Warnick made deals with students to choose money, or take their chances selecting the prize behind the S, G or A.

Up for grabs was a new laptop and an XBox 360, among other prizes.

“Dr. Warnick captivated the audience and helped create a successful evening of hilarious entertainment. SGA worked diligently to make sure freshman were welcomed to college the right way,” Roger Norman, SGA president, said.

Let’s Make a Deal was sponsored by Student Government Association in conjunction with Tech Connect and Welcome Week.
