SGA Seeking Senate Candidates for Spring

theLINK. Applicants must be full-time Arkansas Tech students with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.25 on record in the Office of the Registrar. Cumulative high school grade point average is used to determine eligibility for candidates who have yet to complete one full semester of college-level work. In addition, applicants cannot be on disciplinary probation with the university and they must be available to meet from 12:15-12:50 p.m. each Wednesday in the Mary Anne Salmon Senate Room at the Doc Bryan Student Services Center. According to the senate application available through theLINK, the following senate positions are available for spring 2015:

  • 1 sophomore senator
  • 2 junior senators
  • 3 senior senators
  • 1 senator, College of Business
  • 1 senator, College of Education
  • 1 senator, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences
  • 1 senator, College of Professional Studies
  • 1 senator, Graduate College
  • 1 senator, non-traditional
  • 4 senators, at-large
Elections will take place on theLINK beginning at midnight on Monday, Feb. 2, and continuing through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
