SGA Applications Available

Applications are available for students wishing to serve in the 2012-2013 Student Government Association.

Applications may be picked up in the Office of Student Services on the second floor of the Doc Bryan Student Services Building.

The positions to be voted on in the upcoming election include:

Sophomore Senator (3)

Junior Senator (3)

Senior Senator (3)

Senator at Large (8)

Senator for the College of Natural Sciences

Senator for the College of Applied Sciences

Senator for the College of Business

Senator for the College of Professional Studies and Community Outreach

Senator for the College of Arts and Humanities

Senator for the College of Education

Senator for the Graduate College

International Student Senator

Nontraditional Student Senator

Additionally, three freshmen senator seats will be filled in the fall, along with any positions not filled in this election.

Executive positions available include president, vice president, secretary of internal affairs, secretary of community outreach, secreatary of public relations, secretary of student development and secretary of finance and administration.

Students should return their completed application to the Office of Student Services by 5 p.m. on Friday. In addition to the application, students must submit 25 signatures from peers.

Elections will be held Wednesday, March 14. Students must present their Tech I.D. to vote.

Elected senators must be available to come to senate meetings at 12:15 p.m. each Wednesday.
