Senior Honors Symposium and Student Research Symposium Today

Dozens of Arkansas Tech students are taking part in the annual Senior Honors Symposium and Student Research Symposium today.

Dozens of Arkansas Tech students are taking part in the annual Senior Honors Symposium and Student Research Symposium today.

The Senior Honors Symposium is located in Ross Pendergraft Library Room 300 North. Presentations will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4:35 p.m.

The Student Research Symposium, will be located in Ross Pendergraft Library Room 300 South. Those presentations will begin at 9 a.m. and are scheduled to end at 2:20 p.m.

During both the the honors symposium and the student research symposium, students will offer a presentation on a topic of personal interest.  Each student has conducted their research under the supervision of a faculty mentor.  The presentations last approximately 15 minutes.

Senior honors students presenting this year include Katherine Boyd, Shawna Stoddard, Leighann Dicks, Craig Gunter, Jesse Higdon, Roger Norman, James Schmitt, Sara Youngblood, Rebecca Skelton, Chris Briley, Kaylyn Busch, Haley Parsons, Bethany Larue, Cora Housley, Corey Fuller, Brent Armstrong, Hannah Goetz, Elliott Brown, Skylar Creel, Joy Counts and Kimberly Ruble.

Students presenting in the Student Research Symposium include Joy D. Counts, Summer Lafoon, Jaehwan J. Lee, Dacen Waters, Amber Johnson, James A. Kennedy, Kathy Parker, Kirk West, Brad Richard, Jesse Christiansen, Melissa Perkins, Robert Bowman, Andrew Williams, Marissa Tedford and Joshua Trujillo.
