Savage Storm Tops Golden Suns 6-3

Southeastern Oklahoma State University earned a 6-3 victory over Arkansas Tech University in Great American Conference tennis at Durant, Okla., on Friday.

The Savage Storm improved to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in the GAC with the win. The Golden Suns fell to 9-10 overall and 3-2 in league play.

Arkansas Tech will conclude its 2016 tennis regular season with three consecutive home matches. The Suns will host Southwest Baptist University for a non-conference match on Sunday, April 10, before entertaining Harding University on Tuesday, April 12, and Henderson State University on Sunday, April 17.

All three matches will begin at 1 p.m. at the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex in Russellville. Admission will be free.
