Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center Upgrades Website

The Arkansas Tech University Ross Pendergraft Library & Technology Center has released a new version of its website.

The site, revamped to respond to some suggestions from last spring’s library user survey, was launched earlier this month.

Philippe Van Houtte, assistant librarian, says the new site focuses on providing fast access to countless digital resources.

“We have rearranged the website to allow easier and quicker access to the various reference materials,” said Van Houtte.  “We believe this will be helpful for students to locate the specific content they seek.”

One of the new features is a highly visible, interactive and efficient multi-tabbed search box located on the homepage of the new site.

“By adding this feature, students are able to search one of five relevant library resources in one click,” said Van Houtte.  “The search includes Tech’s most comprehensive database, a collection of more than 600 reference e-books, the library’s online catalog, a collection of over 7,300 peer-reviewed journals in full text and library materials placed in reserve by teachers.”

Another feature includes a slideshow highlighting other services of the Ross Pendergraft Library & Technology Center.
