Rose Selected Preseason All-America

Arkansas Tech University defensive back Cua’ Rose has been named to the 2018 d2football.com preseason All-America team.

A senior from McGehee, Rose made 85 tackles and five interceptions during the 2017 season, bringing his career totals to 226 tackles and 12 interceptions. He ranks third in ATU history in career interceptions.

The Wonder Boys were 8-4 overall and 8-3 in the Great American Conference last season under head coach Raymond Monica. Tech finished tied for second in the GAC standings and earned a bid to the Agent Barry Live United Bowl.

It was the third consecutive winning season for the Wonder Boys, their longest such streak since 2004-06.

The 104th season of Arkansas Tech football will begin on Thursday, Aug. 30, when the Wonder Boys visit Southern Arkansas for a 6 p.m. GAC contest at Wilkins Stadium in Magnolia. Radio station KCJC 102.3 FM and www.arkansastechsports.com will provide live coverage.
