Twelve members of the Arkansas Tech Residence Life community recently attended the Southwest Association and University Residence Halls at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
The delegation sent by Arkansas Tech included Residence Hall Association executive board members Alissa Hopkins, Amanda Thompson, Fred Dillard, Lauren McGehee and Cadie Brown; RHA members Tyler Byrns, Sarai Stone, Ryan Scherff, Cole Walker and Joshua Kelley. Zane Hight, adviser, and Gwen Young, professional liaison, were also in attendance. Zane Hight and Fred Dillard presented four programs at the conference and “Crossing the Line” was ranked in the top 10 by participants.
Arkansas Tech also won the award for Philanthropy of the Year thanks to providing almost 200 coats and cell phones to children who may need them in emergencies.
