Reynolds to Lead Arkansas Republican Party

Arkansas Tech University alumna Sarah Jo Reynolds has been selected to serve as executive director of the Republican Party of Arkansas.

Reynolds, 24, previously served as the party’s political director for the Third and Fourth Congressional districts in Arkansas. According to a news release from the Republican Party of Arkansas, she is among the youngest individuals and one of few women in the nation to hold such a position within the party.

During her time at Arkansas Tech, Reynolds served as president of the College Republicans and was vice president of Phi Mu.

She was also a member of Cru, the Student Alumni Association, the Presidential Leadership Cabinet and the Arka Tech student newspaper staff. Reynolds earned a spot on the Dean’s List at Arkansas Tech in multiple semesters.

Reynolds graduated from Arkansas Tech in December 2012 with bachelor’s degrees in history and political science and journalism and in December 2015 with a Master of Science degree in college student personnel.
