The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is offering a training session to help area individuals learn to start up and operate a restaurant business. Officials say hospitality majors might especially benefit from the seminar.

The ASBTDC will present a seminar called “Restaurant 101.”

This seminar is suggested for people who want to learn more about all aspects of owning and operating a dining facility.

Steve Lucchi, a SCORE representative, will provide information about menu development, site configuration, personnel, financing, marketing, advertising and legal issues.

The seminar will be Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Point Conference Center. The cost to attend is $35 and includes lunch. Advance registration is required.
