Reslife Staff Spotlight: UC/SS

The staff at University Commons and Stadium Suites has been selected as the second group to receive the Office of Residence Life Staff Spotlight.

The Resident Director Appreciation and Recognition committee developed this honor as a way to recognize everyone on the staff for their dedication and hard work.

Additionally, the recognition program allows residents of the hall and the campus community to get to know their leaders.

Here is some information about each member of the staff:

Resident Assistant Kortney Lockwood is a junior from Lavaca. She is majoring in math education with a minor in sociology. She enjoys listening to music, watching movies, shopping and travelling. Her favorite program so far has been Pocahontas Diversity.

Resident Assistant Fred Dillard is a senior middle level education major from Conway. His favorite program was Fundamental Tuesdays and thoroughly enjoyed Reese’s peanut butter cups. His favorite movie is “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”

Resident Assistant Addison Anderson in a junior information technology major from North Little Rock. Anderson’s favorite quote is “The world is not enough.” His hobbies are playing in the Arkansas Tech Band of Distinction and working with computers.

Resident Assistant Clark Wray is a senior mechanical engineering major from West Memphis. His favorite movie is “Fight Club” and he enjoys hiking, camping and running. He said his favorite program has been “Sex in the Club.”

Resident Assistant Codie McKnight is a junior agriculture business major from Jasper.  McKnight chose Arkansas Tech because of the environment and size, and has had an amazing experience living on campus. He will soon be hosting a cookout at Stadium Suites for his residents.

Resident Director Amanda Knutson hails from Vale, South Dakota. She obtained a degree in health, physical education and recreation from South Dakota State University and is finishing her second year in the college student personnel master’s program. Her favorite programs hosted by her staff have been the No Labor Day Cookout, Study Nights and Fundamental Tuesdays. In the rare occurrence of spare time, she enjoys reading, bingo and Sudoku.
