Reslife Staff Spotlight: Turner Hall

The staff at Turner Hall has been selected as the this week’s group to receive the Office of Residence Life Staff Spotlight.

The Resident Director Appreciation and Recognition committee developed this honor as a way to recognize everyone on the staff for their dedication and hard work.

Additionally, the recognition program allows residents of the hall and the campus community to get to know their leaders.

Here is some information about each member of the staff:

Resident assistant Tyler Byrns is a sophomore business marketing management major from East End. His favorite program has been “How to Act Toward a Woman.” His favorite movie is “Blind Side” and his favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids. He enjoys hanging out with friends, playing intramural sports and playing Xbox 360 games.

Resident assistant Jacob Brown is a sophomore economics and finance major. He is also from East End. His favorite program has been “Pajama Party.” His favorite movie is “The Legacy” and his favorite candy is Reese’s pieces. His favorite quote is “If you think anything is possible, it is. If you think it’s impossible, it also is.”

Resident assistant Molly Pattullo is a senior geology major from Hot Springs Village. Her favorite program has been “Easy A” and her favorite color is green. Her hobbies include hiking, photography, climbing, crafts and reading.

Resident assistant Kevin Krost is a senior psychology major from Russellville. His favorite program has been “Turner Hall Diz-ance Parrtay.” His favorite candy is 100 Grand and his favorite actor is Charlie Sheen. His hobbies include spending time with friends and learning new things.

Resident assistant Ashley Vick is a junior emergency management major from Greenwood. Her favorite program has also been “Turner Hall Diz-ance Parrtay.” In her spare time, she enjoys knitting and spreading God’s word. Her favorite color is mint green and her favorite candy is Hot Tamales

Resident assistant Meagan Klomfas is a sophomore middle level education major from Van Buren. She chose Tech because she loved the campus, it was close to home and she received a full scholarship. Her favorite program was the first program she hosted, a tie-dye party, for residents to meet each other and have a good time.

Resident director La Keesha Murrill is a first year college student personnel master’s student from Sherwood. Her undergraduate degree from Arkansas Tech is in management and marketing and hospitality. She chose Arkansas Tech for the southern hospitality atmosphere, the campus, and the student to professor ratio. Her favorite program put on by her staff this year is Turner Fat Tuesday for Mardi Gras, at which residents ate great food, played Dance Central on the Xbox and gave away door prizes.
