ResLife Staff Spotlight: Roush Hall

The staff at the Roush Hall has been selected as the next group to receive the Office of Residence Life Staff Spotlight.

The Resident Director Appreciation and Recognition committee developed this honor as a way to recognize everyone on the staff for their dedication and hard work.

Additionally, the recognition program allows residents of the hall and the campus community to get to know their leaders.

Here is some information about each member of the staff:

Resident Assistant Spenser Wallace is a sophomore accounting major from Van Buren. He hosted a successful program that encouraged Roush Hall residents to break down stereotypes. He enjoys golf, basketball and any other sport. His favorite candy is a Payday.

Resident Assistant Drew Mangus is a senior computer engineering major from De Kalb, Texas. His favorite program has been “Pi Day.” Mangus became an RA to further his interpersonal communication skills. His hobbies include robotics, electronics, computers and music.

Resident Assistant Josh Crane is a senior marketing and management major from Russellville. He hosted a food basket fundraiser earlier this year. He became an RA because he wanted to get involved and make money at the same time. His favorite candy is gummy bears.

Resident Director Steve Hanlon is a second year graduate student in the college student personnel program. His bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University is in biology in secondary education. His favorite TV show is Law and Order: SVU. His favorite experience at Tech has been advising the Residence Hall Association as they traveled to the longest No-Frills conference there has ever been.
