The Arkansas Tech College of Business recently awarded several gift cards to students who participated in a study conducted by the College of Business Honors Research Team.
Students were invited to participate in a study by making a purchase and completing a survey regarding their experience. Those who completed to study were entered in a drawing for a $25 Wal-Mart gift card.
Winners of the gift cards were Jasmine Strafford, Rebecka Surtevall, Anna Foster and Munenao Nishiyima. More than 125 students participated in the study.
Hannah Goetz, Brent Armstrong and Elliott Brown are studying consumer perceptions of service quality in the fast food industry under the faculty supervision of Dr. Kevin Mason, Dr. Stephen Jones and Dr. Mike Benefield.
As the research team concludes the collection of data and a literature review of consumer service quality expectations, they will test various hypotheses. A report will be generated this semester and presented in the spring at the Honors Research Symposium at Arkansas Tech in the spring.
