Arkansas Tech University students have through 5 p.m. Wednesday to register for the 2016 Women’s Leadership Conference on Saturday.
The conference is offered by the Office of Campus Life, and the conference theme is “I Am.”
The conference runs from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., and the cost is $15 per person.
Registration is available on theLink, and the $15 fee may be paid in the Office of Student Services, which is in Room 233 of the Doc Bryan Student Services Center.
During the conference, students will attend several sessions focused on empowerment, gender inclusivity and awareness, education and professional growth, action and activism, equity and wellness.
Kristen Hadeed, will serve as the keynote speaker on Saturday. She was a junior at the University of Florida when she found Student Maid, a company that now employs more than 500 college students during peak times of year.
