Jeff Reese is busy this summer preparing for his basketball career to continue as an Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball player.
As he begins his junior year as an emergency management major, he will join the team for the 2011-2012 season.
Reese comes to Arkansas Tech from Murray State in Murray, Ky. He has also played for Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, Fla.
The 6-foot-4 Reese hails from Laurel Hill, Fla. He says Russellville reminds him a lot of his hometown. “I feel like I’m back home, and I’ve got a lot more confidence.”
Reese says he is excited about the opportunity to play for Coach Doug Karleskint and contribute to the team by playing multiple positions.
“My main focus right now is on getting that championship. I’m going to take it one game at a time right now, and we will be pretty good.”
