The Department of History and Political Science will host guest lecturer Lawrence Reed this evening as a special lecture series continues.
The presentation is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Rothwell 221.
Reed is the author of “Striking the Root: Essays on Liberty.” He is a nationally syndicated columnist, president of the Foundation for Economic Education, and former president of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.
At the end of the lecture, students and others in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Admission to the lectures is free to anyone who would like to attend. This is an instalment of the 2011-2012 Guest Lecture Series on Politics, Liberty and Political Economy. The series is funded in part by the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation.
